in the beginning you trusted – you trusted your parents – they were there for you – then you went out to the playground (world) and you discovered people who pretended – they pretend to be good but really were selfish and in fact they were pure cruelty – bullies – So you stop trusting! – What’s the difference? You see, when a person loves another, their motive is to help; when a person is jealous of another, their motive is to hurt (this in fact is what the Kabbalists state “the word of truth mirrors the world of falsehood,” for in absolute fact, there is no such thing as truth; but there is such a thing as love or hate – so when someone loves another, they wish them good (in fact, the Hebrew word for love is ahavah which has in it the word hav, to give, while the Hebrew word for jealousy / kinah and hate / sinah both have the word nah to annihilate) However the exact opposite happens when someone hates (though as a person wishes to see themselves positively they deny (subconsciously, hence in their conscious mind they are only aware that the other person is evil and deserves to be destroyed which is the greatest sign you or someone has a problem; when they justify evil; hence Arabs, Nazis, terrorists, Muslim leaders all fall into this category) last but not least, though it is possible for a person to become jealous of happiness, it certainly is impossible for the creator of happiness to become jealous
