In summary, the truth is, that the ultimate truth is not about an experience, it is simply doing what the infinite truth teaches!

Chassidus teaches about the difference between relativity and truth – as Einstein described the theory of relativity for the layman – that our excpierences are subjective – as he said “If you are sitting on a hot stove a minute feels like an hour, and if you have a conversation with a pretty woman, an hour feels like a minute” – so even Divine revelation as great as the prophecy of Mosses falls into the “relative to darkness, light is better” modality – but there is another non-subjective experience called etzem, the essential truth.

The essential truth is, it’s not about pleasure nor about lack of pain, nor modalities of Divine bliss – nirvana etc.

Ultimately, it is about merging the Divine within man.

This has no bells, no whistles, for like the story of when God spoke to Elijah the prophet – first a great fire, then an earthquake etc. etc. occurred, but those were not the voice of God, then in a still small voice, God was heard and it was the message, the mission which was all encompassing.

In summary, the truth is, that the ultimate truth is not about an experience, it is simply doing what the infinite truth teaches!
