In summary – all emotions even good ones, such as the desire for unity, the emotion of love, which creates unity, including the abhorrence of evil, are mindless; for an emotion has no rationality, it is like putting a gps, say to love everyone, or a gps to hate evil, hence try to destroy it, on a robot; but there is no mitigating circumstances, no discernment, for it is a robot – so the only rational discerning approach, for we are irrational, when it comes to our emotions; our emotions in fact form our thoughts, so obviously we are like the guy watching the screen of our thoughts, imagining that those are our thoughts; however if I asked you, what would you like to think about: would it be what you are thinking about? which proves, that you are not your thoughts (for if you were, they would perfectly align to what you would like to see, like a guy watching a TV – so if it was up to you, there would be the perfect show, but there isn’t, which is why you are always flipping channels) the only time we get what we truly want, which is a combination of abhorrence of evil, and a desire for unity, so we are not naively assuming all is rosy, nor are we part of the destructive thorn called hate, is when we quite simply, are willing and able (for the very ability to overcome our emotions, itself can be a lifetime effort) to rely on God’s wisdom!
