In simple words, to paraphrase Kabbalah – three operating systems operate us (ideally) the mind (what distinguishes man from animal); (usually) the heart – our emotional desires for pleasure and fear of pain; (and last but least) the ego, the desire for recognition and the anger over being demeaned, as well as jealousy over the good others have (when one doesn’t identify, yet feels entitled, i.e. I wouldn’t be jealous of my son’s success, but if I don’t identify with another, I will be jealous of theirs, if I feel I am on par with them; I.e. if I felt lower than them, so the reason blacks in Africa aren’t antisemetic, is they feel lower than whites; however, when they do become rich and / or powerful they become antisemetic)
