In other words, the goal of life is to allow infinity into the finite

How do we do this?
Supposedly these are two separate realms!
As Chassidus teaches, even the wealthiest man in the world, has no comparison to infinite wealth (imagine the American government printing presses, that can indefinitely print, say, a billion dollars daily) though the poorest man in the world that say, owns just a single penny, has some comparison to the wealthiest.
We are obviously finite, our minds are limited, God is obviously infinite, he has infinite capacity.
So firstly, we must understand, that if God’s capacity is infinite, he is not limited to only being infinite, he can limit himself (effectively ourselves) but obviously, he can merge the infinite with the finite.
So how do we become infinite?
So if we take ourselves as the starting point, no matter what we can perceive, study etc. it will always be limited to the capacity of a human being.
However, there is a very simple, but oh’ most challenging mechanism to allow God’s infinite capacity in.
Firstly, what does an infinite human being look like – as the Alter Rebbe, the author of the Tanya, the Bible of Jewish mysticism explains in Likuitie Torah, there are those souls who humbly continually advance.
In other words, the infinite human being looks like me and you, just perhaps a bit humbler.
And this is the key.
For when we have pride, we attach our ego to our discoveries, that cauterizes our growth.
However, if we understand that relative to an infinite capacity for wisdom, hence truth, hence personal discovery, hence continual transformations, we of course, are not even like the poorest man relative to the richest man; then in our humility we will allow God’s infinite messages, be they through the wisdom of Torah, the wisdom of Chassidus, and perhaps even more concretely, as the Baal Shem Tov teaches, that everything we see and hear and oftentimes even think, is a message from God, a life changing message! which obviously as our sage teach us, God only educates us according to our capacity; hence these messages, inspiration, wisdom, come to us in a pattern of continuous cycles; in other words, once we have integrated one idea and are humble, we then have the capacity for the next, allowing the finite to truly become infinite.
