In one of his boldest statements ever, the Rebbe revised the Jewish approach to the messianic era, when he said to Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu, the Chief Rabbi of Israel that now “one can bring Moshiach into their lives” – who heard of such a concept?! – we all thought Moshiach will transport us miraculously to Israel – bring peace – rebuild the temple – but how does a person bring Moshiach into one’s life?
