In life there is only one choice – philanthropist or beggar

The story is told of a philosopher who onced asked a sophisticated woman, “would you be willing to sleep with me for $50,000,000.00,” so she started considering the offer; and he interjected and asked, “how about for $5.00?”
“What kind of a woman do you think I am?” she indignantly retorted.
“We have already established that, now we are hagling.”
In other words, in life we are either givers or takers, he who is a giver will always be a giver despite his financial situation, and he or she who is a taker will always essentially only be a taker no matter his fortunes.
