In life, as Kabbalah teaches, we can (and are) be in one of three states – the first state (the natural one, if there is security) is the state of white – in this state we “hear no evil and see no evil” – the reason for this is, when a person desires something, they do not see anything but what they desire – whether it is addiction, lust, money – anytime we have a desire to see something we shall see it (in other words, as there is a natural desire to have friends therefore we are simply completely naive, as we don’t want any information that will disturb this desire – this is clearly seen when people make bad romantic choices) the second is red (seeing red is when we are angry – this is the opposite state of love – just as in love we are attracted, in hate we are seeking to destroy – we actually see why others are evil and whenever we do see it, it is our personal responsibility to point it out – this is the real reason behind bulling, antisemitism, current anti-west – it boils down to jealousy – jealousy is an innate emotion hence people who unfortunately have become fearful of criticism and it is no fun living in fear, they become jealous of those who don’t (which is why we find the bizarre phenomena, that it is the very kindest, noblest, most charitable people and nations that get harassed – for the happier you are, the more jealous they are) finally there is the middle state and it is the state of wisdom – in wisdom we see not like the naive white state, inability of recognizing evil, nor are we in the”naive” red hateful state (unaware it is our own fear, hence jealousy motivating irrational viciousness)
