In everything we need to ascertain what is the bottom line – for there may be many threads but it is the actual tapestry and its effect that matter – the bottom line of Judaism is love, for love brings to unity – I am no expert, but it seems to me the bottom line of Christianity is dependent on who the Christian is – For example Catholicism might actually be about itself – However I do believe that the born-agains, the people who were secular and found God in the religion of their ancestors, also find Christianity to be about love hence unity – Again no expert here, but in Islam there must be differences too – It is obvious that to the jihadist which only number at least 200,000,000! the bottom line (unfortunately it has only recently since the early 1980s morphed into this definition) is dying (for then they are guaranteed a place in heaven) to murder! – the more they murder of any other Christian, Jew, even other Muslim the greater they are! (pretty serious!) the bottom line for at least 500,000,000 traditional Muslims (called salafists) is shariiah law, which they believe should – ideally through coercion as it traditionally was spread – to the entire world! (this is why they are insisting on sharriah law and trying to get it into the legal courts) the bottom line for many non-traditional Muslims is the five pillars of Islam (many of the masses are taught this, as jihad obviously isn’t necessary at least previously wasn’t applicable to the majority) they are: believing in Mohammed, hajj, zaka, five times daily prayer and Ramadan – For a secular person usually, “let me do my own predilections” For a radical – now this is very interesting for a radical is ostensibly for a cause but really they will use any cause against people!
