In everything in life there is the floor, the walls, and the roof

The floor is the foundation with which nothing else can exist! – in life it’s quite simply summed up – the summary of Judaism in fact – “be kind, be just, and walk humbly with God your Lord!”

One we have a floor, we need walls to ensure that foreign winds don’t sweep us and take us to bitter waters; hence we need the story that keeps us protected, that though we may not realize, Moshaich is coming! that though we may not see it, we are protected by God!

And finally we need a roof, to protect our egos from deluding us, keeping our heads somewhat within reality – and the roof of course is to constantly say Thank-You, for “having a roof over our heads” and all our blessings! Sent via my BlackBerry from Vodacom – let your email find you!
