in all times, there have always been two diametrically opposed groups: the first is the group of loving humble people – in this group, people who do loving acts are respected – certainly all who respect Mother Theresa (lehavdil) the Rebbe, and all humble good people fall into this group – the second (which is not understood by the first, as the first is misunderstood by the second) are people suffering from grandeur – in this group, tyrants – famous people – “powerful people” are respected – people who have no power are despised – Ironically, all people are born (provided they received a safe loving home) into the first group – However many are the societies (Arab one – German another) who quickly show the individual (usually in their own home) that they are not to be soft – they are defiled – they are broken – they are created in the image of tyranny – hitler clearly understood this – I recall on my visit to Auschwitz, a quote in the infamous death camp, to the effect, he wished for the germans to be brutal – the thing is that people from this latter society obviously are not happy – no man in a boxing ring can be happy (sure they may desire the momentary fleeting pleasure of winning)
