In a nutshell, life is about submitting our will to the will of the Rebbe of the generation who has submitted his will to the Rebbe before him and remains in communication with him (even after he passes on)

and this goes back all the way to the first Mosses, who is constantly in touch with God – “as never has there arisen a prophet who speaks to God face to face like Mosses” – hence, the Rebbes message is God’s message to us, and to be grateful, that instead of being one of the many billions whose lives will vanish upon their death, by being connected to God we will live eternally!
