imagine people as a harddrive – in this harddrive are different programs – imagine the harddrive looks like a human – now imagine each program as a gps direction – here are all the innate biological software directions – the ego – whatever I want (in other words, it’s not the object that is the objective but that no-one should ever tell me no – the ego is born from expectation – now obviously it must be innately there, otherwise it couldn’t grow (as a seed cannot grow without its potential) however it grows the more it is fed – So the more a person gets what they want, the more they expect to get what they want and will get angry if someone tells them no) then there is desire, love, lust – all of these relate to something that will give me a pleasure – then there is the flipside, to not achieve pain – in other words, it’s the exact reverse – for pain or shame creates a fear of recurrence (as apposed to love and lust that creates a desire for recurrence) But what’s important to know, is unlike an animal – we have higher programs – We have compassion, we have a desire to discover the truth – according to Kabbalah as our soul comes from God, we innately seek our source – Last but not least – in fact perhaps most importantly we have an objective mind (this also makes us unique from the animal) and the mind is the observer of our self and has the ability to influence us through focusing on what we should want to want, and to then instruct our body to follow the higher not lower programs
