Imagine – in the beginning, I thought how can I create the ultimate beauty – unity / harmony – now in order to create unity, you must first have division – in order to have division you must have separation – so I created independent identities, nowhere more clear in the male and female – both obviously human, both obviously different – then when they both seek to fulfil a higher purpose, and having thus been commanded – in fact the very first! – to unify (“leave your past desires and cleave to your wife and become one”) so unity needs three steps 1. Individuality 2. God, and His commandments 3. Submitting – hence in essence, submitting to God is to actualize you
