Imagine God decided – “I will make humanoids – they will look exactly like a human, but let’s see what will happen if I put a few conflicting programs in the same humanoid!”

The first program I will put in is called animal – “animal” desires anything biologically instinctually hardwired to feel pleasure, if they see, taste, hear, smell it; and then other things that they are biologically instinctually hardwired to be repulsed by (for example, excrement, getting burned, hate etc.)

Now the animal I will place in an organ called heart, that will pump these feelings and desire into the organ called mind.

But the mind is another independent program, it will be able to think and observe – it will often tell the humanoid good ideas, but usually their heart will be too strong (as in addiction etc.) so the heart will be in control.

But then I have given them a third organ called liver – ego

This will seek control, recognition, dominance – likewise it will get angry when demeaned and jealous if it expects to have something another has and it thinks it’s unfair (like children – “You gave him an extra candy…!”) but there is something special about ego, for when it gets crushed, it reduces the power of the heart, and hence the person now has the ability to follow their mind.
