Imagine five highways – the first is the highway of existence, the second is the highway of lust, the third is the highway of arrogance, the fourth is the highway of existential angst, and the fifth, like an invisible highway, lands…

 

 

In the beginning, when man had to struggle, existence mattered…

 

But when existence is seen as guaranteed, the instinctual lust and  / or arrogance, takes over

 

But after being repulsed by world-wars and having the freedom, hence predilection (license, as well as ability) to indulge; modern man got onto highway number four
