If you look at human rights as a curve, so imagine a graph, and a bell curve in the middle, – humanity began in absolute chaos where it was literally the law of the jungle – then Abraham introduced kindness, sanctified in the Jewish Bible, integrated through over a thousand five hundred years of its integration in Israel; so now on the bell curve only a single nation believes in and practices human rights; then this nation spreads around Europe, and the descendents of Eisav are bothered by this annoyance, conscience! (as Freud explained, the subconscious hatred behind antisemites!) and eventually after a holocaust, after thousands of years of their own barbarity, they take a deep look in the mirror and change their stance, they decide to join the party, to redeem themselves from their own hell of ego, one-upmanship, and so democracy spreads – but never forget my dear friends, that those nations that did not interact with the Jews: Africa, Asia, surprisingly the middle-east, namely, the Arabs who learnt nothing, despite thousands of years of interaction, are still at the very bottom of the bell’s curve, hence what we see today, as Netanyahu said at the U.N., is a clash of civilizations, human rights vs. those who admire aggression and revel in destruction!
