If you know this, you know exactly how God works – memory is like downloading an app – for example, we think we have to discover and live the truth – but God has infinite truths to share! – so we are in the darkness, we discover a light! – now this light, once it’s seared into our harddrive/consciousness, God will remove that obsession with it, to sear/download a new light, ad-infinitum! – Generally speaking, three global consciousness’s hit us – the first – “we exist independent of God” namely “we exist!” – the second, God revealed himself at Mount Sinai, hence though we still perceive our existence as being separate, nonetheless, like a boss (who is not one with the employee) instructs the worker on his tasks! – This the Jews learnt over thousands of years and taught the rest of the world this concept – Then comes the next step – we and the boss are one! – Then the next, the boss can and will directly communicate to each of us! and all along, this was his ultimate goal! but had we not believed we existed, we would have lacked the freedom of choice; had we not learned who is boss, we would fail to appreciate how fortunate we are that we and the boss are one! and now we can appreciate God’s infinite kindness!
