if you forget this, never-again becomes once-again – everyone is born with infinite potential – everyone is born with two primary motives, the first is attraction, the second is retraction – depending on your soul/body, you will be attracted to what you consider is pleasurable (love, sex, food, and the varieties throughout the animal kingdom etc.) and you will retract from what you feel is painful (fire, freezing temperature, shame etc.) – the thing is, that we also get an ego – and the ego is obsessed with two things a. being greater! b. not being lower! – hence as we see what people only do for gaining status (Hollywood, often money etc.) conversely when a person is shamed (and they feel it was unjustified – they will do anything, including murder, to restore their "pride" = eliminate their shame – this is the true reason for thousands of years of Arab hate – the bizarre phenomena of bullying – and what we in the west don’t get: Islam feels abused by the west, for we see the world as nation-states, while they see the world as Islam vs. non (in fact, a basic worldview of Islam, is that one day, the whole world will be Islam, and until that day, Islam is at war with non-Muslim countries – we do not realize, that our winning world war-one against the Ottoman Turks was a carnage against Islam itself (for while all countries must be Muslim, those who WERE have the highest immediacy of this imperative)
