If we understand God’s mechanism, there is nothing left to need to know – as the Rebbe teaches, God has a three part mechanism to everything he does – first comes a vision, a dream, a desire – in all cases, this is human growth, like a parent seeks the advancement of his child, whereas, the definition of advancement in God’s terminology, is not foolish instinctual grandeur, rather, in fact, the opposite, more humility, hence harmony, hence unity and selflessness! – then comes the mechanism through which we imbibe this advancement – often trauma is actually our greatest advancement, because it shakes us out of our complacent indolent lives (and as psychology has researched, in the words of Jung, “There is no birth of consciousness except through pain”) and this of-course leads to the third goal, namely, the best you possible! but as God is infinite, in the messianic age, we shall continually – but in a peaceful way – move, advance, grow!
