If we know the principle, we know the details, as Kabbalah teaches us, all the details are included in the principle; so the question then becomes, What is the principle of our existence? and the answer ironically is, that there isn’t one principle, there are many principles; the most fundamental principle, is the fact that we are a creation; like a child is created by the parent; as the parent loves the child, hence we are basically #1 God’s love; the other principle is, that God is loving, and the nature of a loving person is to give; hence God desires to give to us, and the mechanism in which God unites his infinite ability to give, with our finite ability to receive; is a three stage mechanism: and that is that as we’ve had occasion to mention “alef-beis-gimmel,” first comes God’s desire of what to give; so for example if I had a child and I had a few things to give the child, obviously I can’t give them all at once, so let’s say I’m going to teach my child how to walk and how to talk, and how to eat, so I’ll obviously start off with the most important thing, how to eat and then I will teach my child how to walk and then I’ll teach my child how to talk and similarly, God in his infinite kindness, begins by teaching us, you know, the basics, of how to walk and talk, and live in a civilized way, but that’s obviously only part of what God can do; because he’s infinite, there is infinite portions of wisdom that will come our way, as soon as we are interested in learning more!
