If all of human history – and as they say, hindsight is 20/20 can teach us anything, it is the simple truth – Judaism came to the world, to bring this truth – it is the core, the foundation, the very raison det’re of the religion, and has nothing to do with it – it is the approach, not the details! – for no matter your philosophy (even within Judaism, if you mistake this and your approach is wrong, you will have the same results) for if your philosophy is a human construct – it is based on even brilliant minds – anyone who knows anything (and I have read about) Aristotle, Plato, Buddhism, sees, that these were geniuses that make the rest of us look like monkeys; yet, none of them could save themselves from themselves – for the greatest problem a human faces is not external it is internal – for the greater our conception of our greatness is, the more intolerant we become to anything opposing our view – this is why a child goes through two interesting stages – the development of ego and by the time of two they throw tantrums by not receiving their wishes (for receiving them prior, makes them feel entitled) and then hopefully they become humbled – yet if that humility turns to arrogance, the human regresses (this is narcissistic personalty; coupled with amalek/German innate delusions of grandeur; and delusions of grandeur, based on truly being grand (in any given field)) So the irony is, the more right you are, the less human you become; the more “wrong” you are (the less you consider yourself right) the more human you become! – ultimately, there must be some kind of system that allows you to both follow the true path but doesn’t induce arrogance and to the best of my knowledge, apart from simple humility, which is why the Baal Shem Tov extolled the simple person beyond the scholar (for in their humility they have all the qualities and lack the disease of arrogance) the system that allows both growth, coupled with humility, is Judaism, for Judaism has a single simple premise, we are the Servants of God.
