Ideas – the good the bad and the ugly

 

What are the things that change the world?

 

It’s not the phone, it’s not even the plane, those are just tools that shorten distance, rather it is ideas, which is the way we view things and hence our reactions to them.

 

For example, when the world began, the idea was, as it still is in backward localities like Africa, the Arab middle-east, that if you can, you are entitled to (for example, South Africa – presumably the progressive of African countries, statistics show 25% of men have raped a woman and not only do they not see it as wrong, they believe they are entitled to; for the rapists, as the president of their country was accused of, are not the less economically prosperous, but the more, as in their belief system, power entitles.)

Abraham came up with a novel idea – that which you don’t want others to do to you, don’t do to them and even more accurately: God desires for us to have compassion and love!
