Idealistic thinking, anxiety thinking, reality thinking

By zevi770 · January 27, 2014

Idealistic thinking is the thinking of, as they say, a liberal is someone who hasn’t (God-forbid) been stabbed; armchair liberals who with great moral umbrage, comment on the evils of the white man etc. having no actual experience in the harsher realities of life – this in fact is childish thinking – namely, as the child is secure, hasn’t experienced insecurity, hence lives in a bubble of love – beautiful, but stupid

Anxiety thinking, is the person who has been stabbed – hence the person’s mind, serves as a preventive machine – gone goes the feelings of love, brotherhood, and all man can think of is how to stay safe – as it’s clearly described in the Torah, when a person is in anxiety thinking, the rustling of a leaf sets them into a panic mode – unfortunately as studies tell us, many women are in anxiety thinking

Then there is realistic thinking – take a deep breath, and step out of our experiential world and think: how did we get here? is there a purpose for which we are here? is there a protective hand? and finally: if there is a protective hand, if there is a purpose, if our very existence isn’t a must but a absolute act of God’s love then a. nothing is there to fear and b. happiness will come from fulfilling our purpose!
