I was speaking to a man who does a lot of charitable work – as he told me, his motivation is guilt – this feeling "being guilty for having wealth" is based on the false assumption that wealth somehow is underserved – the problem with this assumption is that underlying it is the communistic idea, "everyone should be equally poor"
