I was recently reading a fascinating article by Victor Frankel who said that though Maslow made a heiarchy with meaning being at the highest, nonetheless it is not that the person struggling to make means end doesn’t also truly desire meaning – in other words, this is a profound truth, that though a person may even be God forbid a murderer, in essence their truest desire is love
