I think we fail to think; hence, as we are consumed by “me” and “I,” like a child who imagines his parents exist solely for “me, myself and I” forgetting that a. he is simply a little squirt (perhaps quite literally) b. his parents do not owe him anything, rather are giving from love c. his brothers and sisters must take equal place in his parents heart – extrapolate to God!
