I think I (perhaps, we) have realized, exactly what the Talmud states "we have NO-ONE to rely on (certainly, secure the world from madmen – note, the holocaust was but one in a series of naturel disasters, for naturally there will always be madmen https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wars_and_anthropogenic_disasters_by_death_toll, in our own time we have another mass-murder plot, by the Iranian regime and successive US governments, not only were responsible for the establishment of that regime (Carter!) but have consistently allowed their voracious appetite for murder, terrorism etc. has morphed into a desire, in the words of an Iranian to me "they believe, when the world will be filled to a horse’s knee with blood, their messiah will come!) but the great news is, they are all pawns, to show us normal love seeking people, that there is no such thing as human leadership, only Divine! (and Divinely inspired prophets, and yes jesus and Mohamed who did not follow the very basis of what makes someone a prophet, for the Torah, which predated jesus by over a thousand years and by close to two thousand in the case of Mohammed, establishes, that any person who prophesizes but abrogates the laws is a false prophet – that includes if he shows you miracles, "for I do this only to test you" – obviously, God desires, as the Rambam says, to spread the belief in the messiah while still keeping intact the Jewish nation as a distinct people, hence as the messiah is about to come, all will eternally become separated: the true and pure from that which has impurity and false beliefs
