I remember the first time I played with a computer – this machine that was totally foreign – yes, my daughter used to tell me (when she was young) “You know, Tatty, in the olden days when you were born” : ) but then much to my pleasant surprise, the computer was very simple to figure out – this in fact was deliberate – part of Microsoft’s Ten-Commandments, is simplicity

The same holds true of our wold – it seems highly confusing, but once you figure out the buttons, there is nothing to it.
The first thing we must understand is everything God made consists of a body and a soul – the body is the place where the soul exists – so my soul exists in my body – all soul / bodies are placed in a universe which is subject to place and time – so I currently exist on this momentous day, Yud Shvat in middle of Missouri, in the year 5776.
However, what we must realize is, the place of the body is meaningless – if we removed all the souls from all the bodies, there would simply at most be lifeless rocks with no-one walking, interacting, desires
So in truth, life as we know it has nothing to do with the place it inhabits, it has to do with the soul that is inhabiting the place.
As we know from Kabbalah, there are four soul types, the inanimate (which in truth is Divine for e=m so the true essence of the inanimate is God) the vegetative which grows, the animal which feels and the human which thinks
In other words, the world was created for the thinking or let us call it observing human.
So it all boils down to one thing – a. you are not your body nor is any other living thing – You, as is all living things your soul, which primarily means you are a thinker / observer
