I recently had to officiate at a Shivah house

 

Now King Solomon, wisest of all man – besides Moshiach – teaches us, that better to go to house of mourning, than a party for at least you will be somber and reflect on life

 

So what have I learnt?

 

I learnt that life is real!

 

If death is so final, if death is so powerful, if death causes so much heartache, than the joy, the thrill, and ultimately the change of life must as well.
