I need to really thank God – for a long time I have been wondering about this and as Chassidus teaches, that a great spiritual light enabling Torah (especially Jewish mysticism compared to oil) is revealed when we light the Menorah hence the benefit of studying next to it – so I randomly opened a Torah Oir and something I have been wondering about for a long time, was Poof! right there – We all know, that as Chassidus teaches, we have three brains – we have chochmah, the ability to conceive new idea – binah the ability to digest, comprehend, analyze, categorize existing ideas and we have daas the ability to integrate, marry and desire (in other words, ideas on their own don’t turn into action – I believe most men have at least a thousand great ideas – but only what you focus on to the point that its desire is stronger than your baser instincts, so for example, if you by nature are lazy, only if you desire to do this idea more than you desire to be lazy, will you do it etc.)

Now the Alter Rebbe explains where these three brains are – amazingly it is really simple – it is, as we know, from science, the right, left and prefrontal, lobes – the right hemisphere of the brain is called the creative / innovative, the left hemisphere is called the logical (innately as we know, men are more connected to the creative, which is why they oftentimes are living in fantasy; while women are connected to binah, which is why they oftentimes are living in anxiety (as reality is less certain than fantasy – at least in terms of “everything is going to be ok…” mode)
