I need to apologize – I formerly wrote that God gave me the discovery of what the ego is, but when I was actually writing, I forgot and I wrote, it is the sense of entitlement – but thank-God I remember the concept today – it is “It’s All About Me!” so when we are a baby, we come to the realization that life is “All About Me” for the universe as we see it, namely, our home is reacting to me (this is in fact why the oldest sibling will usually become jealous of the second, for the second takes away the notion of “It’s All About Me”) however, if a child has good parents they come to learn there is such a thing as right and wrong, hence we adjust to a higher reality – religion is very important in the adjustment of behavior – however, sometimes a person regresses, for when for whatever reason ego comes back – when a person senses once again that the world – again their little world, but this is experienced as the world – is “All About Me” they once again cannot handle anyone else – for now they see anyone else’s success, as stepping on their entitlement
