I know someone who is capable of finding in every person and in every event something evil – this is reminiscent of Reb Menachem Mendel of Kotzk’s line "what’s the difference between someone who searches for truth, and someone who hates lies;" "the former will find truth, while the latter will find lies"; in the end of the day, nobody can paint many things with the same paint brush
