I know a very great Rabbi, Rabbi Banishevitz who told me he once asked the Rebbe for happiness advice – not becuase I was sad, rather so does Chassidus demand – the Rebbe’s reply should be our guiding principle – The Rebbe said, "God is complete, total and infinite goodness, and just desires to bestow goodness upon His creations and every good deed we do, we enable God (who must also be fair) to do so!"
