I just watched a video with Mendel Kalmonson, author of Seeds of Wisdom where he recounts a story, where a young man asked the Rebbe “why did so many people trust his advice in business, politics etc. beyond say a businessman, politicians” (many thousands literally trusted the Rebbe’s words over doctors, for life and death issues) answered the Rebbe, a architect gives a contractor his blueprints, who then tells the individual plumbers, electrician etc. what to do – why does the contractor do this, because he knows how to read the blueprint! – in other words, God communicates to the Mosses of the generation!
