I just realized something amazing – yeh I know, it happens pretty often but that’s my inquisitive life coupled with my Jewish mysticism background

We see reality as being real, simply because we can sense it.

When we hear something it is not as tangible though it may be more real, for example say you see a movie, is that less or more real than someone telling you about a vista they saw.

Obviously the movie is entirely cartoonish, acted etc. but because we see it, we visualize it and the sense of realness is so profound that effectively we never forget anything we see (the mind feverishly works hard at night to file unimportant sights etc.)

Now the fact that someone else saw something real still doesn’t impact us as strongly as what we see.

There is another reality which is quite simply the truth, God’s being which is everywhere but because we don’t see it, we don’t grasp it hence we live in this world where what is real is defined by a sense.
