I just learned something from the Rebbe which is absolutely extraordinary – what is the difference between a humble person and a person with low self-esteem – the former knows (like Moses who was the most humble, but likewise courageous, smart, Divine) their qualities but takes zero arrogance (as Moses understood “my talents are Divine gifts for a Divine purpose – in other words my life is a mission” – who has time to indulge in vanity…) while the latter doesn’t think – or doesn’t realize – they have qualities
