I heard this story personally from the person it happened to, Mr. X’s mother was very ill – he asked Rabbi Katz to write to the Rebbe for a blessing, which he did, and the reply was, that, I don’t recall his mother’s name, but the Rebbe wrote, the mother and her mother’s name, though it was not said to him “will return to Tzion (something like) March 25.”

On that day she passed on

So we need to analyze this, for a moment

Is it possible, that when we are born, and when we die has already been chosen

Whom we will marry, whom we divorce, whom we will remarry?

How we will earn a living?

And if it has, why doesn’t it seem so?

And the answer is, that obviously as Kabbalah teaches, every single thing that ever has, is, and will happen, was simultaneously designed in the primordial thought of creation

And yet of course, two different realities occur simultaneously

For imagine this – out of your great love for your future child, you being all powerful, first give birth, then provide a spouse, then provide an income – most importantly, provide meaning, through acts of goodness and kindness, and then times up.
