I have just read something extraordinary – with great gratitude to our loving creator and our equally generous Rebbe whose wisdom lights my (and of course millions of others) soul – I have begun to read the Rebbes talks (every Shabbos he would speak, particularly the last years of his speaking) and the following diamond (amongst the vast infinite treasure trove) I just read – there are two ways we can affect the world – one would be in a way of war, this is analogous to King David and King Solomon, for David though being (called) King Moshiach was a warrior (who spilled much blood in war, though for holy purposes) hence the holy-temple the symbol of Divinity needed to be built through someone whose wisdom was so great that all the nations came to study from him – but this represents another type of winning – not in a war God-forbid (vanquishing) rather in a war through love – in conclusion, the Rebbe teaches, in our day and age preceding the final redemption which all nations (as we are witnessing this epic transformation – beginning with Russia etc.) will seek to do the right thing, will seek truth and wisdom, hence today, the way we transform darkness to light, evil to compassion (though this doesn’t apply to radical terrorists) is through engaging, inspiring, uplifting, teaching
