I have found that life is in truth as the masters teach us, an elaborate setup (it’s so elaborate that even after we realize it’s a setup we still really think its genuine) in the words of our sages, the first two thousand years of creation (or from creation) are called either creation or chaos, it was a time of both; then beginning with Abraham, came the two thousand years of Torah, in other words civility, then beginning with the expulsion of the Jews from Israel after the second temple was destroyed by God through the Romans, began the two thousand years of redemption – now everything in the macrocosm is really a reflection of the microcosm – so these three stages are actually a reflection of our own lives, in the beginning there is the admixture of creation and chaos, then somewhere around the age of two we learn manners, civility; then we traverse the existential crises, searching for the meaning of this meaningless life, eventually we receive our personal redemption!
