I have come to the realization we are not God, we are only his emissaries – in other words, it is not our job to save the world, rather to be ready to do whatever God requires of us to save the world! – and the difference between the two approaches is: In the first, though it might seem noble to take responsibility for everyone, it is a. factually incorrect, and b. can lead 1. to ego, if you succeed; and 2. to depression if you don’t! and in the second approach: you will a. be able to do far more than your limited intelligence, for God’s infinite wisdom coming through our actions (merkavah etc.) are far more significant, enduring and correct; and b. you can never feel 1. egotistical if you succeed, because it wasn’t your idea! and 2. you can never feel depressed if you don’t, for you are not egoistically connected to your ideas!!!
