I have come to realize – yes its true! – the wisdom of Tanya on how to deal with fear and anxiety! – it is so simple, yet as we cannot understand, we may not apply it – Firstly, in Chapter 26 of Tanya, the Alter Rebbe speaks how fear and anxiety ruin our lives – it makes us vulnerable to addiction (for the nature of man is to feel good, hence, when feeling bad, which is the corollary of fear and anxiety, we will by nature try to find temporary solace) So he writes, the mechanism is, to see how what we fear is good! as the Rebbe says (there are three ways mentioned in Tanya on how to do this) the highest (perhaps best way) is to use what he relates from the Baal Shem Tov “When you see the good in bad, the bad turns to good!” – in other words, I did this little exercise – if I look at all the bad things that have happened, would I in retrospect choose that they should of – the answer is, due to the tremendous growth, consciousness, positive changes, no – hence the corollary of that is, that I need to not fear anything that ever has is and will, occur
