I have come to discern that the world exists within our own perception of importance – so the more importance we attribute to a. will be the less importance we attribute to b.; which means, as we attach primary importance to ourselves, it is only when we consider others to be as ourselves, that we attach importance to them (this also explains why ego creates indecency, because if we attach too much importance to ourselves, superseding the importance of others, we then stop identifying with them, hence having love + compassion for them)
