I finally figured it out – game theory – which says, people either hate or love each other – so why would that be? – wouldn’t the natural state of man be love – the answer is (and Freud somewhat discovered this in his theory that there are two drives, life and death) that there are two primary drives in man: social and anti – it goes like this – in our Divine soul we contain a profound sense of love (which is why in healthy societies, people are very generous) however in our animal (instinctual soul) we contain a profound sense of evil (Kabbalah has stated this in the simple statement, that God created that the dark side is an inverted mirror of the side of light) this evil is basically ego – it’s desire is to be better than another – now when people have love, this desire comes out in the form of desiring recognition, which is how mainly it manifests in healthy free societies (which is perhaps one of the major motivating forces) however in societies that are cruel (African, Arabian, where there is no love, and it literally is a “dog eat dog world”) so then the love side has no counterbalance (as light banishes darkness)
