I came to a party the other day – a birthday party – and I saw a beautiful bmw convertible of one of the people who came to the party – and my thought was “shame” (South African for “I feel sorry for his guy”) for can there be a sadder indictment on an individual, that they think they are so worthless, that only cars, possessions of beauty makes them worthwhile!?
