I believe it is the Ramak who writes, one who doesn’t study the true philosophy of Judaism stemming from Kabbalah namely Chassidus will be an apikores – how come? – a heretic!? – yes, because one who does believe in God begins to conceptualize to himself who or what God is, but not having the truth, the concept he discovers is heretical to Judaism and unfortunately I have seen this very clearly in the so called “Litvisheh” movement
