It states when Moshiach comes, God will say to the Jews
“Everything I did (which was pretty crushing by any objective standpoint) I did it for you.”
Sounds a bit bizarre, no?
Well here is another teaching, “A Jew is like an olive, its oil only is extruded when it is crushed.”
You think God loves the Arabs – you know zillions of untold oil wealth…!
No, God hates them.
You see, as Rabbi Twersky says, when God cursed the snake “You shall crawl on your belly and the dust of the earth shall be your food,” one may ask, hold on, to man he reversed it; instead of living in paradise, “From the sweat of your brow will you earn a living.”..
It seems like he blessed the snake to not have to work.
And this is the wisdom and love of God.
For as Jewish mysticism teaches, we all wish to be proud of our achievements, which means a. we must have what to be proud of and b. WE MUST HAVE ACHIEVED IT!
