How To Live

By zevi770 · April 26, 2016

Kabbalah teaches us that all of us will always be in one of three paradigms: when we have security we are in the state of Love – our emotional reaction to our desires, which are both selfish as well as selfless is the dominating feature of our consciousness.

However when we are in the state of insecurity – fear – anxiety, our mind goes under the influence of protection, and we cannot think anymore – we become completely obsessed with achieving security from that which we fear.

Coupled with this is the terrible emotion of jealousy – we become jealous of those who do not feel fear and anxiety.

Hence the word terrorism is to terrorize – it comes from people who live in Terror-Laden societies, and they are jealous of our Societies in which people receive both physical and emotional security.

However as we see, even in our societies that have security, just living based on desires creates addictions of infinitely horrible proportions.

Kabbalah teaches there is only one solution to life and that is to be humble – realize that your desires are very very very very stupid.
