What is the motivation of Islamic extremist?
Ultimately, their motivation and what motivates their Imams as well as more secular financiers is the pride of Islam!
They see the world in a zero-sum game, Christianity is up, or Islam is down, and currently as the Jews got a state, it has been extended to “Jews are up, Islam is down” so obviously, if Jews get annihilated – God-forbid than Islam goes up!
A simple zero-sum game, which people who haven’t bought into democracy where we all can be up! always always play!
So how do you prevent, not respond to terrorism, simple!
You have to change the nature of the game!
Killing them is meaningless, for its an endless game of whose up and whose down – in fact as proven historically, often beating them serves into their fanaticism even more!
Rather you must – yes you must – publicly kill them through love!
You must create a message to all Muslims everywhere, that you think that religions created wars, but people create friendships.
You think, that they are people just like Jews, and you wish to see them prosper.
You want to help them!
You wish that they all open diplomatic missions to Israel, as Israel will open to them!
You want them ultimately to know, that you as Prime Minister of Israel value them, as you value Jews, as you value life itself!
