How people and apes differ

By zevi770 · February 26, 2013

No subject, perhaps captured human imagination better than Darwin’s idiocy of evolution of the species!

The Rebbe Maharash, who had to deal with this idiocy, for many Jews, as many Gentiles left religion for “greener pastures” said – insightfully – that if these intellectuals weren’t driven by a desire for unrestricted sex, they would never consider these nonsensical theories!

In other words, people have a tendency to believe theories which suit their desires, we in fact, are, rationalizations producing machines!

You see, animals have no conscience – they are not bothered by ideas such as congruency, because they simply use their minds to follow their instincts – though it is hard for us to accept this, in many respects, animals such as chimpanzees are smarted than humans, as they can literally, using sheer intellectual power, like using a joystick to get through a maze on a computer, far exceed human capabilities – however, the only reason they will use their intellectual power, is, only for a peanut! hence, all the tricks ,animals do, is only for a fish, a peanut etc.

On the other hand, we humans are composites of conscience, of justice, of altruism, coupled with instincts – the quest of course is, not to let our instincts use our mind, but to let our soul’s nobility! Sent via my BlackBerry from Vodacom – let your email find you!
